Vietnam may soon have a licensed cryptocurrency exchange

Vietnam is reportedly going to have a fully licensed cryptocurrency exchange. The largest distribution company in Vietnam, Linh Thanh Group, is going to develop the trading platform with Swiss blockchain firm KRONN Ventures AG which is “known as a leader in blockchain technology in Switzerland.”

The crypto exchange will be launched by combining Linh Thanh Group's “massive distribution network”, which is the largest in Vietnam, with the “world-class technology” of KRONN Ventures. Notably, last year the Vietnamese government seized the domain of the country’s oldest Bitcoin exchange, accusing it of providing e-commerce services without registering with the government.
