A federal judge denied Telegram's request to issue its forthcoming GRAM tokens to non-US investors. US (New York) District Judge P. Kevin Castel, wrote that Telegram could not ensure the GRAM tokens did not end up in US investors' hands, citing secondary sales.

Telegram said it would appeal Judge Castel's injunction, which is preventing the GRAM issuance.
