Ukraine seizes crypto mining equipment from nuclear power plant

The authorities of the Ukrainian government recently seized crypto mining equipment from a nuclear power plant. The authorities found crypto mining equipment including:

16 video cards (6 Radeon RX 470 GPUs)
1 USB flash drive
7 hard drives
3 cooling units
1 motherboard
1 metal bracket housing
1 router
1 CTC union media converter
1 fiber-optic cable
various network cables, extension cords, and power supplies

Ukraine considers the nuclear power plant a state secret and therefore, no computers are allowed inside. The authorities are pursuing criminal proceedings against the officials of the South Ukrainian Nuclear Power Plant who are believed to have been involved in the crypto mining. The SBU are yet to disclose what cryptocurrencies were being mined.
