Trial back on as Craig Wright says he cannot pay settlement in Kleiman case

posted 9 months ago
Australian-born technologist Craig Wright attested that he cannot finance his court settlement negotiated with the Kleiman estate. Therefore, a final settlement has not been reached.

Wright had been sanctioned in August, after being found in contempt of court for failing to disclose a list of his Bitcoin addresses said to be worth $1.1M. Wright’s arguments were found to be inconsistent and in bad faith. The next trial date is set for March 30, 2020.
