Telecom company Telx Technologies reportedly launched the world’s first SIM card to send Bitcoin via text message. Instead of using wallet addresses, it uses a phone number to identify the people involved in a transaction.

Telx reportedly provides its service to 180 countries and supports trades in Bitcoin, Litecoin, Dash, Zcash. Telx may use a 3rd party wallet (Bitgo) and add a transaction fee (0.10%). Critics argue Telx is new to the industry and its security is debatable.
