Swiss financial regulator plans mandatory KYC/AML for all crypto transactions > $1000 USD starting April 2020

Switzerland has new cryptocurrency AML guidelines, as the authorities are evidently concerned about cryptocurrencies. The Swiss Financial Regulator’s new guidelines are interested in cryptocurrency transactions. Any transfer above ~$1,020 will be subject to additional verification.

Any transaction below this amount can be executed without identity verification. This makes it seem easier for novice users to acquire small amounts of crypto assets. When it comes to withdrawing large amounts, an identity verification procedure must take place.
