Siberian Bitcoin data center is growing and may "be responsible for as much as 2% of global Bitcoin mining"

4,000 kilometres east of Moscow near the shores of the Angara River, and 1,000 km north of Mongolia, a Russian firm operating a vast Bitcoin data centre run on cheap local hydroelectric power is growing and plans to double its power output this year.

BitRiver offers hosting services and turnkey solutions for Bitcoin institutional investors including bitcoin mining firms.The company could already be responsible for as much as 2% of global bitcoin mining, Chief Executive Igor Runets estimated.
