Samsung invests $2.9M in crypto hardware manufacturer Ledger

South Korean tech giant Samsung invested $2.9 million in crypto hardware company Ledger. With Samsung backing Ledger, Ledger is now valued at $290 million.

Ledger’s co-founder Éric Larchevêque tweeted (translated from French) “We will always need hardware wallets, but to accompany a revolution, crypto is based on a personal sovereignty accessible to all, the smartphone will actually play a central role.”
