New Zealand court rules Cryptopia must compensate its users for funds lost in hack

Cryptopia had informed their users, via a 74 page document, that their funds always belonged to the account holders, implying the funds were hacked from the users, and that it’s not the exchange’s responsibility, however the courts of New Zealand have ruled otherwise.

Whether the users actually get there funds back, despite the court ruling, remains to be seen.
