Jack Dorsey’s Bitcoin-buying Cash App gains popularity on TikTok

Young people are spending significant time on the short-form video-sharing app TikTok, where Square's Cash App, that made around $150 million in Bitcoin revenue last quarter, is going viral and introducing millions to Bitcoin.

Square, run by Twitter founder and Bitcoin supporter Jack Dorsey, worked with musician Shiggy who created a song called Cash App, which received 136 million video views with the hashtag #cashappthatmoney. Cash App is one of the most popular mobile payments apps in the US and currently the 2nd most popular finance app on the Apple App Store.
