Iran’s central bank plans to give Bitcoin mining some legal freedom. Mining was recognized as providing increased fuel for the local economy, and new electricity pricing deals have been finalized.

Abdol Nasser Hemmati, chairman of the Central Bank of Iran (CBI) said “Mining of the international digital currencies should be done based on the price of electricity for export. What’s more important is that these mined currencies should be fed back to the national economic cycle.”
