7.4% of South Koreans are invested in crypto, up from 6.4% last year according to survey

In a survey conducted by a non-profit self-regulatory organization (SRO), across South Korea's six largest cities targeting 2,500 investors aged 25 to 64, 7.4% of South Koreans said they bought some cryptocurrency, up from 6.4% last year.

The average investment per person is now $6,100, 64% higher than last year. Surprisingly, the most common cryptocurrency investors in South Korea were in their 50s, followed by those in their 30s.
